SL Agritech Returns to the PDEx Organized Secondary MarketPosted on: December 14, 2016
14 December 2016, Makati Philippines – SL Agritech Corporation (SLAC), the country’s lone hybrid rice seeds and premium rice producer, returned to the PDEx market a second time to list its PhP 1.5 Billion Commercial Paper (CP) Program.
With SLAC’s second listing, the Issuer now has a cumulative level of PhP 2.5 billion worth of CPs listed on the PDEx platform, pushing the year-to-date total volume of new listings in PDEx to PhP 131.16 billion.
This fifteenth listing for the year brought the total level of tradable corporate debt instruments to PhP 641.62 Billion issued by 40 companies, comprised of 115 securities.

SLAC President and CEO Dr. Henry Lim Bon Liong remarked: “Our ability to meet our financial obligation has been tested. It was made possible because we anchored our ability to meet our financial obligation on our growth and on our efficient use of resources.”
The event was held at the PDS Group Assembly Hall and was graced by directors and officers from SLAC including President and CEO Dr. Henry Lim Bon Liong, Director Joseph Lim Bon Huan, CFO Gerry Lim Bon Hiong, and Director Evelyn C. Lim.
