Alternergy Holdings Corporation Makes Bond Market Debut with PHP 2 billion Enrolled Notes

29 September 2026, Makati, Philippines – Philippine Dealing & Exchange Corp. (PDEx) welcomes Alternergy Holdings Corporation for its maiden issuance of PHP 2 billion Fixed Rate Notes due 2028.

Philippine Dealing and Exchange Corp. (PDEx) President, Stephanie Marie Zulueta in her remarks applauded Alternergy’s bond market debut – “Their first enrollment is backed by a strong investment grade rating from the PhilRatings and the strong reception from its investors is proof to its vision and philosophy in the renewable energy sector.”

Zulueta also highlighted the resilience of the domestic bond market despite ongoing global challenges – “The PDS Group remains committed to deepen the Philippine bond market and to support issuers like Alternergy in mobilizing funding for growth and long-term infrastructure development. PDEx has recorded PHP 469.8 billion in total listings and enrollments year to date, exceeding last year’s total for the year of 454 billion.”

Alternergy Holdings Corporation’s President, Gerry Magbanua explained the significance of today’s enrollment for Alternergy – “Today’s listing of Alternergy’s two billion green fixed-rate notes, our maiden venture into the Philippine debt capital markets, is a defining moment for us. This ceremonial bell ringing symbolizes more than our entry into the fixed-income market; it marks an important next step in our journey as a company”

This twenty second (22nd) admission for 2026 brings year-to-date total of new listings and enrollment to PHP 469.759 billion and the total level of tradable corporate debt instruments to PHP 1.6 trillion issued by 43 companies, comprised of 169 securities.
