01 October 2026, Makati, Philippines – Philippine Dealing & Exchange Corp. (PDEx) welcomes DoubleDragon Corporation (DD) back to the capital market for its PHP 6 billion Series 7 enrolled notes.
Philippine Dealing and Exchange Corp. (PDEx) President, Stephanie Marie Zulueta in her remarks lauded DD’s continuous utilization of both domestic and international debt markets – “From its last enrollment in July, DD continued to tap the capital market with its recently approved planned hospitality-listed REIT in SGX for its growth and expansion plans. And Hotel101’s continuous expansion contributes largely to DD’s vision of developing 1 million standardized rooms across more than 100 countries worldwide.”
Zulueta also highlighted PDEx’s continuous significant performance – “At PDS Group, we remain committed to our advocacy of providing market access for all. To date, PDEx has recorded PHP 475.8 billion in total listings and enrollments, exceeding last year’s overall total of 454 billion.”
DoubleDragon Corporation’s Chairman and CEO, Edgar Injap Sia II emphasized how the market’s volatility and geopolitical issues push DD to seek long-term funding – “There is a possibility that almost the whole of 2026 will be economically challenging as the geopolitical issues and inflation issues persist. Which again highlights the importance of long-term funding such as this. This is to further boost DoubleDragon’s cash position, given the volatile economic situation globally.”
Sia also emphasized the significance of diversification in DD’s long-term goal – “DD is well-positioned in the Philippines through its diversified sunrise business segments and through its Hotel101 overseas expansion. It will further strengthen year-on-year its total asset base – that currently stands at PHP 246 billion or total asset base of about 4 billion US dollar as of June 30, 2026.”
This twenty third (23rd) admission for 2026 brings year-to-date total of new listings and enrollment to PHP 475.759 billion and the total level of tradable corporate debt instruments to PHP 1.6 trillion issued by 43 companies, comprised of 170 securities.
