29 September 2026, Makati, Philippines – Philippine Dealing & Exchange Corp. (PDEx) welcomes Alternergy Holdings Corporation for its maiden issuance of PHP 2 billion Fixed Rate Notes due 2028.

Philippine Dealing and Exchange Corp. (PDEx) President, Stephanie Marie Zulueta in her remarks applauded Alternergy’s bond market debut – “Their first enrollment is backed by a strong investment grade rating from the PhilRatings and the strong reception from its investors is proof to its vision and philosophy in the renewable energy sector.”

Zulueta also highlighted the resilience of the domestic bond market despite ongoing global challenges – “The PDS Group remains committed to deepen the Philippine bond market and to support issuers like Alternergy in mobilizing funding for growth and long-term infrastructure development. PDEx has recorded PHP 469.8 billion in total listings and enrollments year to date, exceeding last year’s total for the year of 454 billion.”

Alternergy Holdings Corporation’s President, Gerry Magbanua explained the significance of today’s enrollment for Alternergy – “Today’s listing of Alternergy’s two billion green fixed-rate notes, our maiden venture into the Philippine debt capital markets, is a defining moment for us. This ceremonial bell ringing symbolizes more than our entry into the fixed-income market; it marks an important next step in our journey as a company”

BDO Capital & Investment Corporation’s President, Eduardo Francisco briefly addressed the ceremony and expressed his gratitude to all parties for bringing this issuance – “with the problems that the country has, this also shows that for good industries, good companies, we can raise capital.”

BDO Private Bank’s President, Joseph Albert Gotuaco shared in his special message emphasized how this enrolled notes may benefit the country in these challenging times – “When the idea of the Alternergy ECNs were first broached a few months ago, we saw an opportunity not only to deliver an interesting value proposition to our customers, but also to engage in an activity of significance to our country. Especially in light of the Middle East conflicts that continue to vex us today, and the broader challenge of the Philippines to achieve more sustainable, resilient economic development.”

This twenty second (22nd) admission for 2026 brings year-to-date total of new listings and enrollment to PHP 469.759 billion and the total level of tradable corporate debt instruments to PHP 1.6 trillion issued by 43 companies, comprised of 169 securities.
